Ok so today was National Band Competition...
TKGS was before us, and it was deja vu all over again. Like SYF last year. The exact same thing, the exact same place, the exact same spot in the foyer. The only different things were that it was a different time and day, and naturally was not SYF, of course.
I sat with Minyi on the bus lol. There and back, and seriously, I never have anything to say to her. Coz she doesn't respond enthu-ly enough :p We did, however, have a very engaging discussion with the rest of BETCH on the way back from NBC about Ernie's imminent divorce from Aliza to marry Minyi. Which, of course, made Minyi the playboy, since she very clearly told me the other day that Sussan was hers. The thought is rather amusing.
Or at least, it was, until we realized Ms Tan was sitting in front of us :p Haha, the way we were carrying on about it...
And when we got back to the band room us BETCH stood together (one of the rare occasions where Minyi actually stood with us) and we talked and laughed and got really high.
Minyi/ Huijun said she asked Zhengning what shirt Mr Oura wore (after band prac ytd) and Zhengning said a white shirt.
I totally couldn't remember it either until they started talking about his X-Ray. THEN OHHHH PURPLE MAROON SHIRT. Then Huijun started talking about how nice his jeans were, which promptly started my shrieking again. Lol.
I can't stand how Minyi is never so enthusiastic x.x I mean, I talk to her on MSN just fine, just that face to face we can never find anything to talk about. Things are so weird.
You know what, I have to stop mentioning her.
We got GWH!!! FOR NBC! I could hardly believe it, and this means we have the potential to do way, WAY better. I hope this will give me the motivation to buck up on my playing. I still sound pretty terrible, though I hope my one player part after the singing (albeit only long notes) was fine... I thought I sounded okay. For once.
