It's my birthday, so I figured I have to post...
I was born approximately 6 hours, 15 years ago. It's 9.18 pm now as I type this, I was born at 3.17 pm... so roughly about 6 hours.

It's funny thinking how fast time passes. A decade and a half gone by, and nothing to show for it. Makes you think about why you didn't choose to do better last time, why you never made the right decisions.

I still make wrong decisions all the time.

Today was not really a good day. Cramping the whole day, had random bursts of pain in the stomach, and I had to rush my last round of titration in the lab. Had really weird inaccurate results due to my impatience.

And of course, we had no recess or lunch due to it being taken up by chinese and SS respectively. Poor classmates had to eat pao/burgers/snacks. I brought rice, luckily enough for me. And then Alagu made the class sing birthday song for me. I never ever now how to react to such things.

I have to go now.

And for all us unlucky souls out there taking SS tomorrow, good luck. (god, they only told us specificially what to study TODAY)

I'm still waiting for myself to grow up (dammit, 15 and I don't feel a difference? I want a refund, god!)

I'm serious, I was so angry today I could actually imagine ripping my nails into someone's throat and feeling blood spurt out. That thought actually cooled me down a bit.

Either I'm turning into a bloodthirsty bloodhound or I was really very angry. I don't even know why I was SO angry! I mean, angry, yes, but angry to that extent?

I am yet amazed at how far my temper can go.

School starts in two days and I have yet to do anything at all.

Commander's auds today... Footdrills for THREE hours hahah my whole arm was numb.

Damn epic. We were in the basketball courts... then half were facing J block half the hilly area behind the school.

I was like: Those facing the basketball nets ( i mean the hilly area people) keblakan puseng!

then I realized basketball courts have nets on both sides. (smart hazel!)

HAH :D

Then once I was the right marker... and the person kekanang lurus... so everyone started shifting to align. I was in a random daze so I started moving my feet too-- I think to used to moving in kekanang lurus... HAHA so everyone had to follow then I was still happily moving around. And Jessica behind me koked my shoulder and whispered: Hazel stop moving!! HAHAHA XD

Do they honestly honestly honestly think that we have a lot of time?

I mean, fine, I understand if its from morning to afternoon. But from morning to late late LATE afternoon is PUSHING IT WAY OVERBOARD. I have a limit, too! Just coz I pretend to be enthu and to love everything doesn't mean they can step over the line that is my LIMIT.

Do they have to make it compulsory? NO. N. O. NO!

As quoted from my mother: "what are you going to do there all day? Blow your lungs out?"

I agree. WHAT AM I GOING TO DO THERE ALL DAY?! Blowing my lungs out, I would say after looking at the schedule. I REPEAT. THERE IS A LIMIT, OK?

And those people overseas right now really have it good. They don't have to go for all that. I mean, please. What a good way to escape, go overseas. -.- I'll keep that in mind for next time.

Oh wait, there won't be a next time. -.- Next time, we will be "top batch" and be expected to LOVE it so much that we will never dream of saying stuff like this.


I really dislike having to blow this up like that. But like I said, it's way overboard. When somebody gives you her time of day and you cross the line and take advantage...

I really don't not want to go. But are they giving me a choice? No. They NEVER give us choices. NEVER.

At first I thought the feeling would disappear with time... maybe fade or whatever. But I don't think it's going to leave me.

Then I think about how foolish I was then. And then I think about how happy I was then. Or at least, happier than I am now.

And I want to speak up but just cannot. I don't want to bring myself to care anymore.

Today was the "practical" part of SL auds. Amanda had to leave halfway and Yujia auded me for the rest O___O She played Amanda's eupho. O____O Freaked out, much.

Vivian leaves for Shanghai Expo this Thursday, effectively NOT going for Band Camp ): Euphos section = 2 people... D:

LAST DAY OF WEP TODAY.

Highlight of the day was, of course, the BUFFET LUNCH AT CAFE BRIO, the HOTEL'S CAFE!!!!

The DESSERTS were heavenly! I can die in peace now!! Hahahah no lah. But they were GORGEOUS(weird word to describe the desserts) but they WERE GORGEOUS. THEY WERE HEAVENLY!

Ok I ate some seafood (the theme was seafood they were having a promotion) and I can't stand seafood ): But I had to eat some mahhh. I went for some ribeye (ok this is not seafood) and told the serving chef "just a small piece" after he had served ting en. and then he cut a really small piece like one cm long and he was "like that?" then we laugh laugh laugh hahahahahha. He has very long eyelashes! LOLLLL.

THE DESSERTS WERE OHHHHHHHHHH. I ate chocolate fudge cake, japonais cheese cake, two fruit tartlets (kiwi+mango, and strawberry+mango), creme brulee, a macaroon. Hmmm did I miss anything? Oh and ice-cream with chocolate chips, hundreds and thousands, caramel sauce.

The TARTLETS were like HEAVEN. I love tarts! The fudge was a bit rich-- I should have known, whenenver I eat brownies or whatever I can't really take the rich chocolate taste -.- The cheese cake was HEAVENLY. The macaroon was good too! I've never eaten one before! The creme brulee was ok. So was the icecream.

Haha I saw the macaroon on the fudge cake.
Joy was like: I want that hamburger thing!
I said: I WANT IT TOO.
Joy: HAH TOO BAD.
Me: NOOOO. *spies a macaroon on top of the fudge cake*
Joy: Take that one!
Me: NOOOO so paiseh!!!
Joy: No? Then I will take it *plucks macaroon off the cake*
Me: JOYYYYYY!!!!
Joy: Whut? Now you can have that one!

Hahhaha lols X)

We ate until we were bursting and stuffed!

This meal was more than enough pay for us! It cost $44 (i don't think inclusive of GST) which is really expensive! Ting En said she doesn't even feel like she did $44 dollars worth of work and I agree! And they gave us a present too, something to remember them by. Pens, Keychain, Card Holder. Which was really nice of them!

When I gave my dept the chocolates they were like: Ahhh no need no need! Thank you sooo much!!!! I gave one to Jagjit too. She was like: WHOUHHHHHHHH! You surprised me! X) And Joy and Ting En tongpang me on my chocolate to Jagjit LOL XD

Thank you: Maheas, Mages, Eloise, Michelle, Cindy, Joan, Glory-- people in my department, for teaching me the basic stuff of room reservation, and giving me loads of filing to do X) At least I had stuff to do instead of sitting around all day! Thank you Jagjit for bringing us around the hotel, showing us the ropes!

This job doesn't pay but we DID get to see the hotel rooms, those expensive ones, which I probably will never see in my lifetime... And we got the buffet lunch. And the experience. I have never worn my pumps for so long before XD My poor feet. And also I haven't worn my skirt in a year but this job made me wear it XD It's more than enough pay already!

Thank you Grand Copthorne Waterfront! It made me feel sad walking through the labyrinth which led to my office... back to the lift... and walking out, knowing I will probably never see the place again.

Ok today same thing did filing etc. Bought Kinder Bueno to give the staff tomorrow as a byebye present. Hahah forgot ytd Maheas said the funniest thing during lunch: THIS CHICKEN CURRY IS THE WORST CHICKEN CURRY IN SINGAPORE!

Today she told us she is vegetarian O____O but if the food is nice she skip her veggie diet, LOLLLLL.

THIRD DAY OF WEP

Today was pretty much the same EXCEPT I GOT TO DO WORK. I keyed in flight details and checked flight details. Then after that I did everyone's filing. Tiring and boring, but AT LEAST I HAD STUFF TO DO. Glory smiled at me hahaha I guess she's just not the type to keep smiling. Serious type yah.

SECOND DAY OF WORK.

Wore my white blouse and black pants with black pumps today. Heel damn pain.

Anyway today was quite boring. I didn't do anything today. Just say there while Eloise (the person who I sat next to today) taught me what she did. (Oh yeah dept head- Maheas -- pronounced Mah-heash) Anyway so boring blah blah luckily the HR dept head (omg really don't know her name, sounds like jub jub ><) brought me around for a TOUR OF THE HOTEL. DAMN COOL.

First we looked at the business offices part. The hotel rents out business offices! It was big and all that, and we went into the facilities room with A TYPEWRITER and PCs. And stuff like shredders etc.

She (HR person) wanted to show us the PARADISO, some place with a GOLD ceiling that she says a lot of people use for solemnization... because of the magical feel that the gold ceiling gives (WOW MAN) But didn't get to see ): She said it was always fully booked and got people at that time. So cannot see ): Then we went to see the grand ballroom which a lot of people use for wedding dinner or sth. Coz like there is a NATURAL LANDSCAPE and apparently when you walk in the curtains slowly open and the lights come on slowly etc etc. LOLLLLLLL. :) :)

Then we went to see some Kingfisher Room (all named after birds!) and there was some food tasting session set up. Chairs were damn cool etc!

Took lift to the TWENTY-NINTH floor to see the lounge... I think for people who pay for rooms on 25th floor and above... IT WAS WAHHHHHHH OK!!!!! The HR person said you could see up to 80% of Singapore from there! THE VIEW WAS MAGNIFICIENT. TRES MAGNIFIQUE!

Ok then went to the SUPERIOR ROOM. Hahahahahah had faulty lights X) Quite funny. The decor was zen-ish and cool! She said got another type of room, with a more rattan feel that the Europeans like more because it has country feel. Asians apparently like zen more than rattan. Yes.

THEN LA RESIDENZA. IT WAS OMG WTH! It was beyond unbelievable, it was SUBLIME. There was this dining table thing, and you think those cupboards look cool and all that, and when you open, there is a hotplate and oven and microwave thingie! AND A WASHING MACHINE AND DRYER. And two rooms with beds and TWO BATHROOMS. OMG RIGHT. Apparently you have to book like at least 5 nights or something to get that suite, and its over 300 bucks a night. *breathe*
We also went to see the pool and the gym! SIGHHHHH.

Actually attachment also not bad la get to see these kinds of things that I probably won't ever get to see unless
1) I marry a multi-millionaire
2) I become a super career woman with a top notch job and, naturally, pay
3) By some miracle or other either one or two occurs. Which they probably won't not in a million years.

Hahahahaha.

Aiya tomorrow don't want to go... At least Naomi, Joy and Ting En got paperwork to do, I just sit there and stare at the person's screen and listen and do nothing at all. I would rather do paperwork!!!!!

Today was first day of attachment with the Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel... Uffffff. I got there with Naomi in the morning, then we went into the lobby to ask the concierge how to get to the Human Resource Office to report. And the person asked us: Oh you are here for interview is it??? Then he told us how to get there. But we couldn't figure it out, and didn't want to go back and ask because so paiseh. So we just asked the doorman (?) [dunno if they were doormen, they were dressed in red at a counter thing in front of the doors. bellboys? bellmen?] So he told us. We went back again, and walked down this super ulu flight of stairs. It was quite scary. And so on, so forth...

Got sent to my department, Room Reservations. The department head, (cannot rmb her name x.x) said each day I can sit with a different person and learn different stuff so today I sat with Mages, who said that she was new. She had only been there 2 weeks. Wow, huh? So she taught me how to do Room Reservations, keying the stuff into the system. At first it was a bit weird and I couldn't get anything in but gradually I got it all. And then I got to key in some rooms for the complimentary wedding package thingy. Like you have a wedding they give you complimentary room (HEH). So I 顺便 look at how big the weddings are, kaypoh a bit hahaha. Like some really big weddings with say 400 pax (WAH REVENUE ALMOST 50K CAN!) get a complimentary one night stay in executive suite and another superior king bed room... but some smaller ones like only 100 pax only get a superior king bed room, and it's not overnight. It's only for say, 4 hours (What can you do in 4 hours, huh???) HEHEH.

Had to photocopy some stuff, didn't know how to use photocopier. Alamak, paiseh like siao can. x.x Then Mages took all the staplers out of the weirdo printed forms, scanned them all in, then asked me to staple stuff. Then I did some filing. Then I went home. Pfft tomorrow sit with a different person. Got this one person, Glory, has this bu shuang face, maybe she doesn't like me lollll.

Cannot believe 5 days. Going to be sooo long X)

I think most of my brain cells died in that time. Or whatever was remaining of them after handing up Chem PT today, anyway.

I should not have signed up for WEP. ONE ENTIRE WEEK is actually more than I can spare. x.x

I still have to make those friendship bands for CIP hours. God, the things I do for CIP hours. GOD. I am actually resorting to writing rhymes for project iHEARTyou for the research thing. I AM WRITING THEM MYSELF. And god, there are only so many things which rhyme with ball, heart, and health.

My house is plagued by flying ants. And large ants. In other words, ants of all kind. Is there no end to this insanity? Tis enough to drive a girl crazy.

God, let these ants be gone when I blink next. *blink* ...... I knew that wouldn't work. Really. I really knew that. A girl can dream.

Ok I'm just going to make this a really short post because it's sweltering hot here, and I don't want to leave the lights on any more. What if they attract more ants? Yesterday was a hellhole, really. The entire wall adjacent to the light was covered in ants. If you looked at it, you would have thought I painted my wall black polka dotted orange. God. The doors and windows are closed, which account for this god-blasphemed heat. Oh. My. God.

I just finished reading Queen of Babble by Meg Cabot, on another thought. It's quite funny. And filled with weird "history of fashion" paragraphs at the start of each chapter. Very enlightening.

Okie. Gtg now. OMG THE HEAT. *faints*
