LAST DAY OF WEP TODAY.
Highlight of the day was, of course, the BUFFET LUNCH AT CAFE BRIO, the HOTEL'S CAFE!!!!
The DESSERTS were heavenly! I can die in peace now!! Hahahah no lah. But they were GORGEOUS(weird word to describe the desserts) but they WERE GORGEOUS. THEY WERE HEAVENLY!
Ok I ate some seafood (the theme was seafood they were having a promotion) and I can't stand seafood ): But I had to eat some mahhh. I went for some ribeye (ok this is not seafood) and told the serving chef "just a small piece" after he had served ting en. and then he cut a really small piece like one cm long and he was "like that?" then we laugh laugh laugh hahahahahha. He has very long eyelashes! LOLLLL.
THE DESSERTS WERE OHHHHHHHHHH. I ate chocolate fudge cake, japonais cheese cake, two fruit tartlets (kiwi+mango, and strawberry+mango), creme brulee, a macaroon. Hmmm did I miss anything? Oh and ice-cream with chocolate chips, hundreds and thousands, caramel sauce.
The TARTLETS were like HEAVEN. I love tarts! The fudge was a bit rich-- I should have known, whenenver I eat brownies or whatever I can't really take the rich chocolate taste -.- The cheese cake was HEAVENLY. The macaroon was good too! I've never eaten one before! The creme brulee was ok. So was the icecream.
Haha I saw the macaroon on the fudge cake.
Joy was like: I want that hamburger thing!
I said: I WANT IT TOO.
Joy: HAH TOO BAD.
Me: NOOOO. *spies a macaroon on top of the fudge cake*
Joy: Take that one!
Me: NOOOO so paiseh!!!
Joy: No? Then I will take it *plucks macaroon off the cake*
Me: JOYYYYYY!!!!
Joy: Whut? Now you can have that one!
Hahhaha lols X)
We ate until we were bursting and stuffed!
This meal was more than enough pay for us! It cost $44 (i don't think inclusive of GST) which is really expensive! Ting En said she doesn't even feel like she did $44 dollars worth of work and I agree! And they gave us a present too, something to remember them by. Pens, Keychain, Card Holder. Which was really nice of them!
When I gave my dept the chocolates they were like: Ahhh no need no need! Thank you sooo much!!!! I gave one to Jagjit too. She was like: WHOUHHHHHHHH! You surprised me! X) And Joy and Ting En tongpang me on my chocolate to Jagjit LOL XD
Thank you: Maheas, Mages, Eloise, Michelle, Cindy, Joan, Glory-- people in my department, for teaching me the basic stuff of room reservation, and giving me loads of filing to do X) At least I had stuff to do instead of sitting around all day! Thank you Jagjit for bringing us around the hotel, showing us the ropes!
This job doesn't pay but we DID get to see the hotel rooms, those expensive ones, which I probably will never see in my lifetime... And we got the buffet lunch. And the experience. I have never worn my pumps for so long before XD My poor feet. And also I haven't worn my skirt in a year but this job made me wear it XD It's more than enough pay already!
Thank you Grand Copthorne Waterfront! It made me feel sad walking through the labyrinth which led to my office... back to the lift... and walking out, knowing I will probably never see the place again.
