Today was first day of attachment with the Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel... Uffffff. I got there with Naomi in the morning, then we went into the lobby to ask the concierge how to get to the Human Resource Office to report. And the person asked us: Oh you are here for interview is it??? Then he told us how to get there. But we couldn't figure it out, and didn't want to go back and ask because so paiseh. So we just asked the doorman (?) [dunno if they were doormen, they were dressed in red at a counter thing in front of the doors. bellboys? bellmen?] So he told us. We went back again, and walked down this super ulu flight of stairs. It was quite scary. And so on, so forth...
Got sent to my department, Room Reservations. The department head, (cannot rmb her name x.x) said each day I can sit with a different person and learn different stuff so today I sat with Mages, who said that she was new. She had only been there 2 weeks. Wow, huh? So she taught me how to do Room Reservations, keying the stuff into the system. At first it was a bit weird and I couldn't get anything in but gradually I got it all. And then I got to key in some rooms for the complimentary wedding package thingy. Like you have a wedding they give you complimentary room (HEH). So I 顺便 look at how big the weddings are, kaypoh a bit hahaha. Like some really big weddings with say 400 pax (WAH REVENUE ALMOST 50K CAN!) get a complimentary one night stay in executive suite and another superior king bed room... but some smaller ones like only 100 pax only get a superior king bed room, and it's not overnight. It's only for say, 4 hours (What can you do in 4 hours, huh???) HEHEH.
Had to photocopy some stuff, didn't know how to use photocopier. Alamak, paiseh like siao can. x.x Then Mages took all the staplers out of the weirdo printed forms, scanned them all in, then asked me to staple stuff. Then I did some filing. Then I went home. Pfft tomorrow sit with a different person. Got this one person, Glory, has this bu shuang face, maybe she doesn't like me lollll.
